Comment: I've tried a number of combs on my super-shedding cat, so I was skeptical about the claims for this tool. However, it really does grab an astonishing amount of dead undercoat, more than you'd imagine from looking at it or even handling it. It looks as though it'll be a job to get through the coat but no, it works like a dream. No effort required.
Pros:
* really does comb out astonishing amounts of fur
* leaves coat smooth and silky, not flattened/greased the way some combs do
* cat appeared to enjoy it, unlike some combs which make her sore
Cons:
* it's pretty heavy, so can be tiring to use for more than a couple of minutes
* comb your pet somewhere where it'll be easy to clean up clouds of fur
* expensive! (You get what you pay for?)
