Are you fed up of running out of gas when you least expect it ?
If the answer is yes then this indicator is the one for you.
This Indicator can be used on any propane, butane cylinder or a mixture of the gases. it has a magnetic backing which attaches to the outside of the cylinder and shows the level of the gas. When your cylinder is empty simply remove the indicator and place on the new tank.
Instructions: -
Whilst using this propane/Butane level indicator, carry out the following procedures: -
1.
Ensure that the surface of the propane/butane tank has been wiped clean and dry before placing the indicator on the bottom half of the tank.
2.
The indicator should not be placed in direct sunlight.
3.
Before starting to use the propane/butane indicator, a complete vertical line of bars will be observed.
4.
Switch the gas appliance on and allow approximately 5 to 10 minutes before taking a reading.
5.
After this period of time you will notice the bar colour will change below the liquid level. The gas level in the cylinder will be indicated by the point at which a change in colour takes place.
6.
If the cylinder is still full there will only be a single stripe of the same colour.
please note that reliable readings will only be observed when the level of the gas is in the lower portion of the tank.
This indicator can be used on any size propane/butane tank.
It has a magnetic backing and is reusable.
