Summary: UNMISSABLE HISTORY OF MOTORSPORT
Comment: Exacly as you would expect from the BBC, very well researched in depth historical documentary of motorsport in 13 parts with enormous amounts of interviews and footage (colour and black and white). TWO tapes of motor sport heaven. Starting with the race for the landspeed record, the great italian road races including in car footage and Stirling Moss interview, great grand prix coverage (pre traction control and seatbelts) interviews with Fangio, Jackie Stewart etc, in car nurburg ring footage, rallying including Ari Vatanen and the Unser family at Pikes Peak (in car again), saloon cars with sideways Jim Clark action, amazing pre war colour footage of Auto Unions blowing donnington and a British Grand Prix apart. Anybody with a passion for motor racing will watch these videos time and time again. I cannot recomend them highly enough.
